South Carolina Baptist Convention – GPS

God is at work in South Carolina. He is at work in the hearts of those who know him and those who have yet to know him through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The goal of “God’s Plan for Sharing” (GPS) is to fulfill the Great Commission in South Carolina by every believer sharing and every person hearing by 2020. This journey is guided by a process of:

Praying (Preparation), Engaging (Cultivation), Connecting (Sowing), Celebrating (Harvesting), Disciple Making (Follow up)

This process begins in fall of 2009 and continues through to the spring of 2010. Like all processes, it can and should be repeated again and again. It is an initiative to share Christ through:
- Prayerwalking in your community
- Praying specifically for lost and un-churched individuals
- Sharing the gospel presentation
- Inviting new friends to your church for an evangelistic Palm Sunday Service, March 29, 2010
- Accompanying new believers to an Easter Baptism Celebration on Sunday, April 4, 2010
- Follow-up with five intensive weeks of disciple making with those who have responded to the gospel
